Here on The Light, it is our mission and hope that the music we play will shine the Light of Christ into the lives of everyone who listens to it. We commit to playing the worshipful sounds of Hope.

On The Light, you can expect to hear music akin to that of what you would hear in a worship service at church. Our music is encouraging, uplifting, worshipful and filled with Hope. Regardless of what's going on in the world, with artists, or with the industry, the heart of the music remains the same, to praise and glorify God and to spread His Hope.

JOHNATHON ELTREVOOG

Weekdays 6am - 10am

Hello, this is Johnathon. I've been a part of KTLF since about 2017 when I started on weekends, and since then I've had the chance join you on the air each weekday morning as we give each day our best shot by "Keeping The Lord First" in every story and song we share together. My favorite thing about radio is that you never know who's listening, and I'm constantly amazed and grateful for those who give faithfully and regularly to make this ministry possible.

I have two kids: their names are Carter and Janae and they are the joy of my life. God told me around 2010 to become a foster parent and so I did, and that started an awesome journey that eventually resulted in the adoptions of both of my children, but also a lot of joy and pain through the years of fostering many kids from tough backgrounds. Here are some things I like: Dutch Bros. coffee, the Chicago Cubs, and playing the piano especially with my sister who's a very neat songwriter. DANIELLE MARIE

Weekdays 10am - 2pm

It's so nice to meet you and spend time with you each weekday. Whether you are at work, having a cup of coffee, driving along, or just doing your regular routine, I look forward to us sharing music that gets us focused on Jesus.

I went through cancer and treatment from May of 2022 through the beginning of 2023. That was the most difficult trial of my life. Now, on the other side of it, I get to enjoy my two teenage kiddos, our kitty Gill, and plenty of dark chocolate. 

A verse that means so much to me as I pray is Ephesians 3:20, "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us."

Julie has over 20 years of Christian broadcasting experience and her delight is encouraging her listeners with the compelling mixture of Biblical truth and grace.  Her passion is sharing the message of Jesus to every person, and she believes that KTLF Radio helps do that. 

She enjoys traveling and finding new adventures on her journeys and being a mom to two amazing grown children.

One of her favorite Bible verses is Jeremiah 32:17, “Ah, Lord God, Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm.  There is nothing too hard for you.”

BILL ARBUCKLE

Weekdays 6pm - 10pm

I like quirky stuff. I like good stories. And I like to encourage people. I guess that’s why I like radio so much. Radio combines all my favorite things.

Hey, it’s Bill, the evening guy on The Light. It’s a lot of fun to open the microphone night after night and share all those Scriptures, ideas, and quirky stories. But my favorite part is when I get to remind you that whatever you’re facing, God’s got this.

Oh, I also like (love!) my wife, Julie. We just celebrated our 30th anniversary. She’s awesome! We have two great boys and enjoy spending time with them. And I'm a professional writer. When I’m not on air, I’m usually writing. Or headed out to some forgotten corner of Colorado to look for rocks and minerals here in Colorado. Yeah, rock collecting is kinda quirky. So, I guess it fits.

And about that quirky story thing: Send me a note sometime and share your crazy story. Or share a favorite Scripture. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I'm Courtney! I grew up loving Christian music, and still feel partial to the tunes of the 90's. Christian radio was the constant soundtrack of my childhood and I had my own fake talk show where I would "broadcast" from my basement. Before I started my dream career in radio, I worked in special education, ran a music program for an elementary school, and taught private piano lessons. I still teach several lessons each week, and really enjoy getting to connect with my students!

I'm always on the lookout for fun and love to laugh! Some of my favorite things are: my community of friends and family, my cat Kazi (who is almost 19 years old at the time I'm writing this), music/singing, chocolate, my flowers and plants, reading, and that feeling you get when you first lay down in bed for the night. 

One of my favorite Bible verses is 1 John 4:19: We love Him because He first loved us.

ELLY SINGER

Weekends 10am - 2pm

Elly's immediate "family" is furry and adorable, consisting of two Tzu's and one Himalayan Persian cat. Elly likes hanging out with her pets, researching the newest DIY's, finding homemade recipes for various lotions and cleaning products, and gardening, She also enjoys her church fellowship.

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 25:14: The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.

RICK THOMAS

Weekends 2pm - 6pm

Rick grew up in rural Wisconsin and most of his neighbors and relatives were either dairy farmers or loggers. He remembers dedicating his life to Christ while in the second grade. His family moved to Florida while he was in high school and that’s where he met his wife Michelle at the Christian school they attended.

Rick started his radio career right out of high school in 1980 at a Christian music station. He worked there for 16 years. Rick has worked at several other Christian radio stations and has also enjoyed a career in television news.

Rick and Michelle have been married for more than 40 years and have a daughter and two wonderful granddaughters.

Rick is a fitness enthusiast and loves going to the gym and going for runs. He hopes that might help make up for his love of candy.

His favorite book of the Bible is Proverbs.
