Our mission is to establish, encourage and equip believers in their daily walk with Jesus Christ.

In the early 1980’s, three Colorado Springs businessmen had a vision for Christian radio in their community. On February 27th, 1989, that vision became a reality when we signed on the air as a listener-supported, radio ministry.

By November of 1992, technology advancements and the generous support of our donors provided the opportunity to uplink the signal to satellite, making it possible to vastly expand our reach with FM translators. Today, the KTLF Radio Network has grown to 3 station formats: The Light, KTPL Word and The Legacy, which includes 16 full-power stations and 27 translators all across Colorado, and reaching into parts of Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah and Kansas. For 35 years, we have been a listener-supported, commercial-free radio network.
