My grandmother who lives in a remote area had to be emergency transported to an ER. She is having heart problems and is unstable. Very scary. The family has been preparing for my grandfather to pass from Alzheimer’s, but not her. I’m in shock.

My friend C has had a very difficult life, been badly treated, is bitter and can't trust people. She has serious anxiety, depression, and suicidal thoughts. She lives alone, has no family that cares. Her neighbors treat her badly. Her social housing is very damp and the landlord refuses to remedy. She is unsaved.

The family has been hit with a lot the past month or so. A retired family member is losing his vision and unable to work even a part-time job. There is also a plumbing issue with water damage that will cost thousands to fix. Finally, my special needs son lost his job when the facility caught fire, possibly from a space heater left on under a desk. Pray for guidance as the board and community members work to restore the building/equipment/workshop needed to reinstate jobs. Pray also for my family during this difficult season.

I am a senior single woman who now cannot afford rent anymore. I am out of money. I have had decades of debilitating health issues/ problems that have been increasing as I've been aging and no longer able to gainfully work. The spouse left me recently with no monthly support. In this state, a judge can favor the oldest spouse, excusing them from having to provide alimony even after decades and decades and decades of marriage. Not enough savings to go on but not able to apply for housing assistance. These places are occupied with quite dangerous persons and situations as well. I have no supportive family.
I only have God - Who does not give hugs.
